Biography

Tim Vogel received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in physics from Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf in Germany. He wrote his bachelor thesis on the setup of a 3rd order autocorrelator in the laser plasma group in Düsseldorf and wrote his master thesis at Airbus Defence & Space, where he characterized a mirror mechanism for the gravitational wave detector LISA. In 2019, he joined the Photonics and Ultrafast Laser (PULS) group at Ruhr-University Bochum. He is currently pursuing his PhD on high power THz generation and optimization of THz-Time Domain Spectroscopy.
